Troddenvale at Oakley Farm
Cornelia and Will Hodges of Troddenvale produce transparency-driven cider of origin with limited to no alterations. They believe complex cider with aromatics and body can be achieved by showcasing the land and fruit from Virginia. Located at Oakley Farm, one of the original farms in the Warm Springs Valley, the ciders are made in a renovated 1920's stable situated next to 4 acres of young orchard. With 2,000 apple trees of 20 different varieties, Troddenvale is focused on finding out what makes sense for this distinctive, high-elevation growing climate. They believe where fruit is grown and how will lead to the greatest potential in their cider.
