Just as folklore is the tradition of passing customs and stories of a community through generations, we believe Foodlore to be its culinary equivalent. Founded in 2017 as a dinner series, Foodlore is a cooperative platform for farmers of the Alleghany Highlands to showcase their products.
Foodlore Provisions emerged in 2020 as a weekly online market providing an opportunity for consumers to buy directly from local farmers. This food comes with the story of the people and places from where it was sourced. Foodlore Provisions is built by a community of farmers, and this is our way of extending our community to you.

The Foodlore Provisions online store offers a safe and convenient way to purchase local food and ensures profits go directly to the producers. Pre-Order through our weekly online shop, and pick-up in The North Stable at Oakley Farm in Warm Springs.
HOW IT WORKS
Step 1: Shop our weekly offering
Weekly orders may begin Saturday mornings at 8AM and go no later than Wednesday evenings at 8PM.
Step 2: Pick-up at Oakley Farm
Orders must be picked up on Fridays between 4 - 7 PM at Oakley Farm in Warm Springs.
